The Delhi Police recently said gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was the mastermind behind the murder and that they had identified six shooters allegedly involved in the killing of Moosewala. The singer’s death was an organised and brazen killing, the Delhi police had said.

Brokerage Elara Capital expects media rights for the Indian Premier League (IPL) to soar up to three to four times to Rs about 50,000-60,000 crore in the next cycle – which is 2023-2028.
This would be an astounding growth for the world’s biggest and cash-rich T20 league, whose broadcasting rights were sold for Rs 16,300 crore in the previous cycle (2018-2022).
The brokerage expects T20 leagues’ annual media rights to hit Rs 10,000 crore-mark, which was Rs 3,220 crore in the last cycle and Rs 820 crore in the first cycle.

Maharashtra’s Thane district reports over 500 new COVID-19 cases for 3rd day
The district had reported 531 new cases of coronavirus on Friday and 513 infections on Thursday, as per official data. 304 accused arrested so far in Uttar Pradesh in connection with June 10 protests
ADG Law & Order Prashant Kumar told ANI that a total of 304 accused have been arrested till 8 am today, in the wake of protests in the state on June 10 which includes 91 from Prayagraj, 71 from Saharanpur, 51 from Hathras, 34 from Moradabad, 15 from Ferozabad, & 34 from Ambedkarnagar. 13 FIRs have been registered in the cases.

Beijing’s bar-related Covid cases rise to 115
The cases have been found citywide, including 107 visitors to the bar in Chaoyang district, two staffers and six close contacts, Xinhua news agency quoted Liu Xiaofeng, deputy head of the Beijing municipal disease prevention and control centre, as sayingat a press conference. It is expected that more cases related to the cluster will be found, and the risk of the virus resurgence spreading is high, Liu added.
