What channel is Heat vs. 76ers on today? Game 2 TV schedule, live streams, start time for 2022 NBA playoff game

The shorthanded 76ers put up a solid fight against the Heat in Game 1, but Miami’s firepower was too much for Philadelphia to handle.

The 76ers will have to go to battle without Joel Embiid again in Game 2, as the MVP candidate had been ruled out for the first two games of the series with an orbital fracture and concussion. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Embiid is set to be re-evaluated on Wednesday with the expectation that he should be available when the series returns to Philadelphia for Games 3 and 4.

The Heat are also missing a key player in veteran guard Kyle Lowry, who missed Game 1 and is already listed as out for Game 2 with a hamstring injury.

Even without Lowry, Miami was able to prevail as the 76ers had no answer for Bam Adebayo without Embiid, who went for 24 points and 12 rebounds.

Tyler Herro (25 points) also outplayed All-Star guard James Harden (16 points), which cannot happen with the Sixers already missing their best player.

Harden will have to turn back the clocks to the aggressive scoring version of himself if Philly is going to have a shot at tying this series in Game 2.

Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics Game 2 odds, picks and predictions

Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics Game 2 odds, picks and predictions

The Milwaukee Bucks (1-0) are back at TD Garden Tuesday to take on the Boston Celtics (0-1) in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (TNT). Below, we look at the Bucks vs. Celtics odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo did everything to lead the charge in Game 1 with 24 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists and 2 blocks. He kept his composure during his worst shooting night of the playoffs, just 9 of 25 (36{cfdf3f5372635aeb15fd3e2aecc7cb5d7150695e02bd72e0a44f1581164ad809}). PG Jrue Holiday led all scorers with 25 points and added 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.

Boston laid an all-around egg in Game 1, shooting just 33.3{cfdf3f5372635aeb15fd3e2aecc7cb5d7150695e02bd72e0a44f1581164ad809} from the floor. They did drill 18 3-pointers, which was 10 fewer than their total makes on the night. PF Jayson Tatum had 21 points on 4 of 9 from distance, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

The Celtics have to counterpunch to salvage one at home, but we’re not willing to throw -190 on it. PASS.

Against the spread

Defensive Player of the Year G Marcus Smart took a couple of shots to his quadriceps, which has him questionable for this one. There’s little chance it will keep him out, but it could hinder his mobility. The Celtics had the best defense in the league largely due to Smart’s perimeter suffocation. The Celtics will also need to clean the boards better after Milwaukee had 4 players with 9 boards in Game 1.

Tatum takes this game over, but G Jaylen Brown has to support him better than 12 points on 4-of-13 shooting. The Bucks are just 1-7 ATS in the last 8 meetings with Boston, but I can’t see laying 4.5 points, and I can’t see Boston dropping both at home. Take the BUCKS +4.5 (-107). You might want to act quickly, though, as the spread figures to come down with 58{cfdf3f5372635aeb15fd3e2aecc7cb5d7150695e02bd72e0a44f1581164ad809} of the cash and tickets on Milwaukee this morning.

Over/Under

The Over is 8-2 in the last 10 with one of those Unders hitting in Game 1. In fact, this number would have hit in the last 9 aside from Game 1. Celtics C Al Horford has quietly shot 54.2{cfdf3f5372635aeb15fd3e2aecc7cb5d7150695e02bd72e0a44f1581164ad809} from 3-point range in the playoffs. Look for him to continue stretching the defense to open holes for Brown and Tatum to drive. Milwaukee blew Boston away in fast-break points at 28-8. That will be another emphasis when backup PG Derrick White enters the game.

The Bucks were a plus-23 when Giannis was on the floor for 38 minutes in Game 1. The Celtics will try to get him into foul trouble and exploit C Brook Lopez, who was a minus-10. Long story short, Boston will be much better offensively, so let’s LEAN OVER 215.5 (-108).

What channel is Wild vs. Blues on today? Game 1 TV schedule, live streams, start time for 2022 NHL playoff game

A chilly outdoor spectacle and two overtime thrillers — it’s going to be hard to live up to the three regular season games between the Wild and the Blues, but the playoffs always deliver.

The two Central Division rivals square off in the first round, and both teams could not be hotter. Minnesota went 19-2-3 from March 16 through the end of the regular season, and St. Louis enjoyed a closing run of 14-1-2 from March 28 on. However, it was the Blues that won all three games during the regular season.

Two Russians headline the teams, as Kirill Kaprizov was even better in his sophomore season than his rookie year where he won the Calder. The Wild winger was one of eight players this season to hit 100 points, leading the team with 108. He had 47 goals and 61 assists playing on a line with Ryan Hartman and Mats Zuccarello.

In St. Louis, Vladimir Tarasenko has done a complete 180. After an injury-riddled season last year, he requested a trade and was left available in the expansion draft. The two sides elected to go forward this season with Tarasenko on the team, and it surely has paid off. The forward recorded a career-high 82 points with 34 goals and 48 assists. He is looking to lead the Blues to another Stanley Cup after winning it all in 2019.

The Wild did not officially announce a Game 1 starter yet, but Marc-Andre Fleury appeared to be in the starter’s crease at practice on Monday. The Blues have also not said who the starter would be for Game 1 between Ville Husso and Jordan Binnington.

As envisioned, the Bucks conquer the Bulls to advance from that collection, although the Celtics remarkably swept the Nets to development to this No. 2 vs. No. 3 Jap Meeting Semifinals matchup.

It was not so much that the C’s weren’t predicted to progress previous the Nets — it was the manner in which they did it that was so placing. Boston’s actual physical defense stifled Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving all over that series, and their balanced attack ensured they moved on and remaining Brooklyn’s championship dreams shattered.

Will the Celtics glance to use the similar method on the Bucks and their celebrity Giannis Antetokounmpo? The Greek Freak had 33 factors and 10 rebounds in 30 minutes as the Bucks routed the Bulls to complete off that collection. Will a mix of Robert Williams III, Al Horford and it’s possible some Grant Williams be ample to sluggish him down?

What channel is Mavericks vs. Jazz on today? Game 6 TV schedule, live streams, start time for 2022 NBA playoff game

The Dallas Mavericks are looking to secure their first playoff series win since their championship season in 2011.

The Mavericks defeated the Jazz comfortably in Game 5, 102-77, to take a commanding 3-2 lead heading into Thursday’s game in Utah.

They will have to exorcise some demons, though.

It was just last season that the Mavs led the Clippers 3-2 in their first-round playoff series and wound up losing the last two games of that series.

For Utah, Donovan Mitchell has declared himself ready to play after limping off in Game 5. An MRI later revealed he has bilateral quadriceps contusions.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert also has to deal with a swollen face from bee stings. Yes, bee stings.
