Saints vs Jets injury report, spread, over/under, schedule, live Stream, TV channel

The New Orleans Saints are riding a five-game losing streak for the first time in the Sean Payton era. It’s been all downhill since NOLA shocked the NFL world in their upset over the Bucs, but even though the Saints won that game, they lost Jameis Winston and their season’s been spiraling out of control ever since.

This week gives NOLA a nice chance to bounce back, as they’ll face the New York Jets. The game is on the road but at this point, an easier opponent is exactly what the Saints need in order to get back on track. No team is easy but the Jets are certainly one of the weaker teams in the league. Even with that in mind, however, New York has managed to defeat the Titans and Bengals, two very good teams, so they’re not to be underestimated.

New Orleans isn’t just facing a terrible run on injuries but several players have tested positive for COVID-19, putting their Sunday statuses in jeopardy.

Marcus Davenport Injury Update

Former first-round pick Marcus Davenport has been injury-prone throughout his NFL career and it’s too bad. This season in particular it’s been rough seeing him get injured because he’s actually been quite impressive in year four after three mediocre seasons and the bust label getting thrown around frequently. Davenport was limited in practice this week.

Saints vs Jets Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 14

WynnBET has NOLA as 5.5-point favorites over the Jets with a money line of -240 while New York’s money line sits at +200. The over/under is set at 43.0 points, which indicates that Vegas thinks this will be one of the lower-scoring affairs this weekend.

I’ve been picking against New Orleans in recent weeks because of how badly they’ve struggled on offense but this is one game they should win. If they can’t beat the Jets, NOLA has no business making the playoffs. Give me a 21-10 Saints victory on the road in New Jersey.

What channel is Patriots vs. Jets on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 7 game

Mac Jones and Zach Wilson are going to see a lot of each other over their respective careers in New England and New York. And though there’s a small sample size, so far the matchup has gone squarely in Jones’ favor.

The Patriots beat the Jets 25-6 in Week 2 and are set up for a rematch here in Week 7. In the first meeting between the two, Jones far outperformed Wilson by simply being pedestrian. Jones was 22-for-30 with 186 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions.

Wilson, meanwhile was 19-for-33 with 210 yards but threw four interceptions and was sacked twice. Wilson’s first game against the Patriots has been indicative of much of the Jets’ offensive season to date.

The Jets currently rank last in points scored and 31st in total yards while Wilson leads the NFL with nine interceptions through his first six games. Defensively, they’re middle-of-the-road in terms of yards and points allowed but also don’t have an interception yet through six games.

The Patriots boast one of the best pass defenses, which makes sense given Wilson’s four interception game against them earlier this season. They’ve also defended the run well, though not as stoutly, meaning the Jets will need to be perfect in nearly every aspect to pull off the upset.

At 2-4, the Patriots sit in second in the AFC East while the Jets are third at 1-4. A win for the Pats firms up their second place position, while a Jets win propels them to second place.

What channel is Jets vs. Falcons on today? Time, TV schedule for 2021 NFL London game

Cheerio, football fans.

The Jets and Falcons jump the pond this Sunday, as both teams are set to meet in London for a Week 5 showdown in London, the first of two international games in the United Kingdom this year.

While it’s not a sexy matchup between 1-3 teams, two of the game’s bright, young stars will be taking the field: Jets QB Zach Wilson is coming off his best performance of his young career, helping guide New York to an overtime win vs. the Titans in Week 4.

On the opposite sideline, tight end Kyle Pitts is still searching for his first career touchdown, and has an opportunity to grab one against the Jets defense this weekend.

One team will be heading into their Week 5 Bye week with two wins on their ledger: The other will head into the Bye week as tourists with some t-shirts.

The Jets and Falcons meet in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 10. The game airs exclusively on NFL Network for out-of-market viewers. For those in the local New York TV market, the game will be available on NBC.
