The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier of Microsoft’s popular subscription service adds three new games to the lineup as of February 24.
When it comes to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service, there are multiple tiers for users to choose from. One could go with PC Game Pass and strictly have access to PC games, or one could sign up for the vanilla version of Xbox Game Pass and have access to only Xbox games. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the best of both worlds, combining vanilla Game Pass with PC Game Pass and EA Play to give subscribers the biggest bang for their buck.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is how Game Pass subscribers can ensure that they get access to all the new games. With that in mind, three new games were added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on Thursday, February 24, and while two are available on PC Game Pass, none of them games are available to vanilla Game Pass subscribers. They may not be day one games, but they’re still popular titles that Game Pass subscribers may want to check out for themselves.
Starting today, PC Game Pass subscribers and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can check out Dragon Ball FighterZ and Galactic Civilizations 3. Dragon Ball FighterZ is a critically-acclaimed fighting game based on the Dragon Ball Z anime and manga series, generally considered one of the stronger fighting games released these past few years. Galactic Civilizations 3, meanwhile, is a turn-based strategy game that has also earned mostly positive reviews from critics.

- Super Mega Baseball 3 (Xbox)
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also check out Super Mega Baseball 3. Super Mega Baseball 3 has come to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate through its EA Play integration, so anyone needing to play a new baseball game on Xbox should check it out. Like Dragon Ball FighterZ and Galactic Civilizations 3, Super Mega Baseball 3 is another game that’s earned strong reviews.
These will be some of the last games added to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in February 2022, but more new titles are right around the corner. February 28 will see the addition of Alice: Madness Returns on PC Game Pass, and then there are a number of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in March 2022.
March 1 will see the critically-acclaimed FAR: Changing Tides come to Xbox Game Pass, to be joined by Shredders, A Memoir Blue, Crusader Kings 3, and Weird West later in the month. Microsoft has yet to reveal all the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in March 2022, but more information on that front should come to light early next week.
